My years teaching the Scuba Diving principles were my biggest lesson on mindfulness & flow. Just like the ocean does not look your credentials, your brain does not know the difference between imaginary or real situations. The message is received by our brain like a self-command order (with a vivid image) for a self-fullfilling profecy. The repetitive inner conversations generate patterns of emotions, this modify our chemistry and prolongue a known state of mind, our defaulted mood.
